An exciting vacancy has arisen for a Veterinary Care Assistant to join our veterinary practice. This is a permanent full-time position, which involves starting as a receptionist, progressing as a Student Veterinary Nurse and finally to qualify as a Registered Veterinary Nurse over a three to four year period. Hours are variable and will involve weekend and night work. Applicants must hold 5 GCSE’s Grade C and above including Maths, English and Science. We currently employ seven Registered Veterinary Nurses, three Student Veterinary Nurses and three veterinary care assistants in the nursing team. Isabelle Vets is a veterinary nurse training practice so training is on-island with eight two week blocks of training in England. We are looking for a motivated individual with good interpersonal skills and enthusiasm to train in this rewarding career.
